Granada y Malaga
Ok so we left Madrid with plans to see Granada, Malaga, Cordoba, and Gibralter.
We arrived into Granada and instantly liked it. The historical center of town is very small and has an awesome antiquity feeling with narrow streets, churches, a lack of traffic, and the major moorish fortress/palace the Alahambra
In our hostel we met up with a random group of some dutch chicks, 3 aussies, a german chick who was really proud of being serbian as well, more germans, an Iranian girl, an awesome italian dude, and a not so bright chick from the states, she was nice though... We all ate dinner and drank togeather th efirst night, and got to talkign about waking up early to get Alahambra tickets as they are impossibel to get later in the day wihtout having reserved them prior to your visit.. They only let in 7000 people a day and only 1800 of those are none resrvation people.... When we woke up, everyone else was up too.. SOmehow we turned into a ragtag group of travellers...
We saw Alahambra then went back, we liked granada so much we decided to say fuck you Gibralter and your use of the pound and we stayed another night. We had a massive "gangsta style" as the aussies refered to it, dinner with everyone. The italian dude cooked some aweosme pasta(surprise?) and it was really cool becuase no one really knew anyone else before.... So yea good times.. Alahambra is also one of the most rediculously beautiful archetectural places of all time... In fact it was a runner up for the new wonders fo the world list, in case you wanted to know.. By the way the christ Redeimer is on that list, I have never seen it but how does the christ redeemer beat out the Haga Sophia, the eiffel tower, Angkor wat, and a list of other places cooler (im pretty sure) than the christ redeiemer.. basically the list is flawed and the Alahambra is sweet.. end of story
In malaga we were tired . We saw the Alcazar fort and the picasso musseum whcih was pretty bad ass. Malaga as a city dates back some 2600/2700 years to phonecians and shit so there was some cool stuff to be seen...
Now to Cordoba, then Madrid, then the glorious SD
Once more VuvuEnEU would like to thanks google images for pictures becuase we cant share ours.. as usual
Cheers!

Andres Iniesta..... Estas una fiesta!
We at VuvuzelasenEuropa would liek to apologize that none of our orignal pics can be uploaded due to mike being a dumbass and forgeting the cord.. thankyou for understanding
This pic however is of the fan park where we were...
So we just got into Granada in the south of spain after another day in Madrid. For those of you not living under a bridge in some far off world we would hope that you knew that spain played in the worldcup yesterday..
That being said it was absolute insanity...the "Fan Park" was a closed of street that stretched for god knows how long, crammed with people everywhere.. there had to be tens of thousands...
Everyone was really stoked on spain, especially once Iniesta put it in to seal the deal
Some stories that can help to explain la locura
Firefighters lending a hand: THe madrid fire department opted to cool down the fans in many of the sections of the fan park... This was done with portable water canons and off of truckes on side streets. They shot water into the crowd for a long ass time making for literal rivers flowing down the sides of the street. One dude we saw ran about 20 yards in front of a truck, and taunted them, they obliged him and almost took him off his feat with a burst of water.. he was rapped in a spanish flag and I dont think anyone has ever been so happy t be beaten by a water cannon
Ultimate Fandom: Its hot in madrid, like 100 on the reg.. errday... Put thousands of people togeather and you get a very hot sweaty atmosphere...even after being doused by the firefighters.... One fan right after the second half got under way, literally passed out standing up... He had been cheering before and then just passed out, his buddys got him water, made fun of him, and then helped him up... we didn't see him after that though
Random scooter ass: Our persoanl favorite fan story.. After the game and celebrating we go to the park to eat our standard sandwhich and meat from a market and celebrate some more... A dude in a car..at this point well outside the fanpark area but the street is packed with peopel and cars with people out of them waving flags... anyhow this fan saw a hot scooter chick.. At one stop light he gets out of his car and hops on her scooter... before the next light he gets off his scooter, makes out with her (all while holding the spanish flag of course), and then returns to the car his buddies are in.. pure awesome
Awesome chants:
ANDRES....INIESTA.... ESTAS UNA FIESTA
ESE HOLONDES... QUE PUTA ES
HIJO DE PUTA HIJO DE PUTA (most common and versatile chant by far)
DONDE ESTA MARADONA...DONDE ESTA? (we didn't get this one)
and finaly YO SOY ESPANOL ESPANOL ESPANOL YO SOY ......
We are in granada now and will be home in 4 or 5 days or something... hope all is well

SAN FERMINNNNNNNN
Back in Madrid from what was unquestionably the some of the 3 most absurd nights of our entire lives
San Fermin, the running of the bulls, basically turns the city of pamplona into an unimaginable fiesta. every street, every corner, every where you can look people are just partying and having a good time. This of course makes for 24/7 entertainment while being there
We ran the first and second days of the encierro heres the video of the first day
FIRST DAY
Each day is full of wild ass events (giant relgious figure parade, concerts, stone lifting, fireworks etc..), but the main thing of course is the Encenierro, basically the moving of the Bulls from their pens outside the "old" city, through the narrow streets and into the bull ring where they are then penned up until they are slain in a bull fight. Tens of thousands of people are wearing the San Fermin gear which is white capris, white shirts, and red scarves and belts.
So the run officially starts every day at 8am but it is more or less a continuation of the previous nights debauchery. Many people dont sleep, espcialy during the night... If you are like us and didnt have a hotel room you slept in the park.... I only wish I could post the pictures of our sleeping quarters.. Basically card board boxes on the grass.... They will come up soon.
Second Day
The run is a massive adrenaline rush.... The bulls are BIG and somewhat scary, running into the staidum is a good feeling... words really don't explain the festival very well... its a shit show..
Highlights include-
Spain game on the 8th...madness
Homless box forts
Gypsys cuddling with you in homless box forts, searching through your pockets for goodies...
People passed out in the middle of plazas and streets everywhere
Watching dude get his shit kicked out of him by bull in the bull ring... HE lived but was unconcious
Fucking up a camara becuase a bull charged towards us in the ring and we had to move....
Frenchman bleading out of his head with a hole in his pants from a horn, yelling at the police to let him back in the ring....
Colombian dude giving people drugs
Ryan getting robbed of his Glasses by Gypsys while he was sleeping one afternoon
Italian 10 year old calling people faggots, flipping us off for not giving him coca cola, and making obscene gestures towards women and old people
Aussies in general... just crazy people
Don Simon boxed wine... .70 euro for the litro
Anyhow overall it was incredible, back in Madrid now.. ryan will be leaving us and mike and colin will be moving around a bit more till the 17th
Hope all is well!
A change in plans.... as expected
So as we were planning to rent a car and drive the wonderfully humid, hot countrysides of Italy, making our way into the french riviera, then crossing the Pyranees to spain.... we encountered some hick-ups....
Italian rental car issues in particular.... Although we had done some online research and were informed that all would be well... it wasnt.... SOOOOOOOO
TRAIN TO MILAN AND BACK TO SPAIN.. BINGO
Seriously though, Italy was pretty cool although most people didn't really seem to be feeling our whole Amurica vibe we were putting out. Milan was also the most fashionable place any of us had ever seen, basically if your not wearing Prada, Guchi, or some other real sweet shit all the time and walking around as if your sponsored by ralph lauren, you will be out of place... Needless to say we could not pass as Milan Locs.. thankfully we got into Madrid right in time for the 4th of July which found us in and out of some epic tapa bars and finally ending in an Irish pub that was far too happy to pour free shots for the birthday celebration...

Lucas, Hans, Dieter, Random Slags, and Frauline Helga
Got a little crazy last night. Came back from a day of exploring Rome and all the amazing things the city has to see and started to throw back some beverages at our bungalow. Next thing we know, we are teaching some crazy German kids to play fuck the dealer, pounding sangria like it was going out of style, and participating in general debauchery. DEUTSCHELAND FTW!
One highlight of the night was Collin and I getting ID'd at a 16 year old and up "night club" as Mike runs in past the bouncer hands waving yelling at rando teenagers who claimed they were partying (obviously they were not on his level). Keep in mind Ryan resembles a 60 year old street bum with a full beard yet apparently still looks 15.
Turns out some other clowns who were supervising didnt appreciate our antics and ever changing nationalities so we were told to pipe down. Disobeying said 20 year old German tour "chapparone" and continuing to tell him we were Argentine nationals while carrying on in spanish he couldnt understand seemed like the best idea at the time so we went with that. The score still stands as usual Amurica 1 - Slags del Mundo 0. Collin is also now from Guatemala.
Woke up around noon and headed into Rome seeing the Vatican City and some other amazing plazas, monuments, and buildings. I dont think I will ever want to eat pizza again when I come home but thats neither here nor there.
I will leave you with this youtube video:

Roma
We arrived in Rome after nearly too much fun in Barcelona.... Barca was an awesome city and a great culture... I think they just like to party alot and the amount of people their from different places was very, very evident...It makes for endless fun, although I have to say the lack of enthusiasm over the spain game was evident
Now we are in Italy, We speak about as much Italian as Lt. Al Dorain (Inglorious Bastards Reference for thsoe who dont know)... But we will make do...
Our Hostel in a nutshell...with a dog?
Our Hostel is 30 mins out of the city in a major campsite populated almost exclusively by Germans.... Needless to say the jokes are almost endless. Most of us are utilising the words ya and das more than their english translations... As we speak some 15 year old german kids are smoking cigs and drinking smirnoff ice knock offs across the way... turns out in germany they also really like Kid Cudi so we made friends... Our next song will definitely be either Duhastme by Rhamstien or Dota by BaseHunter
Once we take the bus leaving occupied Italy we make our way to rome via train
Rome is absolutely incredible.... Every part of history is right there in front of you like you could not imagine.. We wanted to throw some "your not in the Mundial" jokes around but decided against it.. Ir is a pretty impressive place, sin duda
We will be here for the next couple days and then move on to Florence and France... The next part of the trip really has no schedule at all other than arriving in Pamplona in a week.
We have high hopes, and awesome Amurica shirts for the fourth so we intend to be using those in due time
Also, please excuse the last post as I really dont remember writing it....
